Boyscout

We now have a Cub Scout in our house!  Carter has been so excited to turn 8 and this is just another perk of getting older.  This was his first pack meeting.  He earned his Bobcat and pinned it on me.  I remember my Mom doing this with my brother.  So glad my big guy gets to be part of this program :)

Poor Kid

Every time I turn around my two older kids have dressed Parker up or put something on his head. He doesn't seem to mind. What a sport!

Safe Kids Fair

My kids look forward to this every year. They get to sit in a firetruck and play a bunch of games. They find it so fun to wear the free backpacks they get and stuff them with brochures and junk toys. I am not sure why that is so fun because when we get home I throw away all of it including the backpacks! They do not even notice the stuff is gone. I guess it is just fun to collect things :)

I had to document little miss attitude. She was eating popcorn which is one of her favorites and I asked to take her picture. This is what she gave me:

Parker's Favorite Spot

Any time we want Parker to take a quick nap, we just set him on Corbin's lap in front of the TV and he is out! He will not do it for me of course, but that is what Daddy's are for.

Valentines Day '12

This year I had zero motivation when it came to thinking of an idea for Carter's Valentines box. Enter my amazingly talented sister. She knows what characters Carter likes and she went to work. She made him this paper mache angry birds "box". He was thrilled. Thanks Aunt Keri!

Next we headed to my Mom's for dinner and she had some Valentines gifts for the kids. Parker put on some cute glasses:

Paige liked her light up Tinker Bell toy:

Every holiday Grandma Colleen sends the kids a card with a few dollars in it. The envelopes are always decorated with cute stickers. The kids know when there is a colored envelope in the mail, it is from Grandma. I think this is a cute tradition they will remember forever:

Then Valentines at our house:

Ice Skating

We tried ice skating with the kids for the first time. I was surprised but we did manage to get Corbin out on the ice!

Paige loved it:

Carter went around a few times, but this is mostly what he did:
